• Discussion on ‘ Common School System’ jointly organized by the A N Sinha Institute of Social Studies and Asian Development Research Institute on August 19, 2007.
• A lecture on the History of Ford Motors from Model ‘T’ to the Present, by Mr Amit Ghosh, Former Chief Engineer of the Ford Motor Company, Detroit, USA on December 19,2007.
• Prof. Tridib Banerjee from the USA delivered a lecture in ADRI Ranchi on “Challenges for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Possibilities” on 17 September 2007. Dr. Ajay Khare (Head Dep. of Architecture, BIT, Mesra) was the Chief Guest and Main discussant during the programme.
• 'Global Meet for a Resurgent Bihar' held between 19-21 January 2007 at Maurya Hotel, Patna. The introduction to the meet was by Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi ,Deputy Chief Minister, Bihar and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Meet ,welcome address by Mr. Nitish Kumar Chief Minister, Bihar and Chief Patron of the Meet Mr. R.S. Gavai Governor of Bihar. The inaugural address was by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam President of India.
• A seminar on 'Prosperity of Maharashtra: Myth and Reality' by Professor H M Desarda was organised at the ADRI premises on January 31, 2007.
• A talk on 'Human Development and Public Finances: International Trend' by Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, was organised on June 08, 2007 at the ADRI premises.
• A talk on 'Rethinking Bangladesh: Lessons for Bihar and other Low Income Context' was organised on June 21, 2007, by Dr. Binayak Sen, Senior Economist, The World Bank.
