Alam Mozahid

Brief Profile:

Mr. Alam Mozahid is currently working as a State Project Coordinator in Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP) under Center for Health Policy (CHP), ADRI Patna since October 2021. He completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala and Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy, Economics and Finance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. In the first year of Masters, Mr. Mozahid was placed for 5 weeks internship in the Bombay Leprosy Project, Mumbai where he visited Dharavi and Bandra slum areas and interacted with leprosy patients there for his qualitative research. In the second year of Masters, he undertook a 15 weeks field-practicum in CHP, ADRI under the guidance of Dr. Sanchita Mahapatra, PhD (UCLA- Epidemiology) and submitted a report entitled. “Qualitative Exploration of Local Preparedness for Control of Infectious Disease among Informal Health Care Providers in rural Bihar”. He has worked as a District Data Analyst for COVID vaccination program at Bettiah, West Champaran for four months before joining CHP, ADRI. His hobbies are reading, travelling and collection of postage stamps- philately.
