The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) at the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI), Patna, was established with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to strengthen the health sector in Bihar through a multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary approach. Research and Evidence Manager
Number of Positions: One

Eligibility
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s/Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Rural Development, Health Care Management, Hospital Management, Health Administration, Health Policy, or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in strong analytical skills, research, and technical expertise.
• Experience in tool development/testing and project coordination/management.
• Good knowledge in project management, field team management, stakeholder engagement, government liaison, and partner/collaborator management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience in liaising with stakeholders and national/international donors.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working in close collaboration with government systems.
• Experience in team building and management.
• Experience in maintaining coordination between project teams of multiple partners.
• Experience in quality control and assurance of research studies.
Responsibilities
· The Research and Evidence Manager will undertake the following roles and responsibilities under the guidance of the supervisor:
· Operational Management and Capacity Building:
• Supervise and monitor all district project team members to ensure efficiency and timeliness of project activities.
• Conduct training of district team members for successful project delivery.
• Ensure effective documentation of project efforts, learnings, and achievements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with the IHIP application and train team members.
• Prepare weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual reports, case studies, briefs, and presentations to disseminate learnings.
• Manage vendor/consultant relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and at reasonable cost.
• Coordinate with district and state IDSP cells.
• Participate in development and testing of tools/platforms for data collection, reporting, and management.
• Periodically collate, clean, and perform descriptive analysis of data from systems, secondary sources, and studies.
• Coordinate the overall project and report to the Research Associate and Project Lead.
Other Responsibilities:
• Synthesize learnings from different sites into a common information-sharing module.
• Prepare slide decks for presenting findings to government stakeholders.
• Prepare reports on research and program interventions for stakeholders.
• Document project progress for monthly meetings and sharing with external stakeholders.
• Travel within or beyond program areas for 10–30% of the time.
Remuneration
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, up to Rs 50,000 per month for suitable candidates.
