Description: We are looking to hire one full-time Research Associate (RA) for the project “Issues and Challenges for the PRIs in Bihar”. The RA will contribute towards successful completion of the research project. This is a fixed-term assignment of 8 months with a consolidated salary of Rs 50,000 per month. The job location is Patna, Bihar. The person is expected to travel occasionally to different parts of Bihar.
Qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent in Development Studies, Economics, or Rural Development with minimum 60 percent marks. People with demonstrated ability of quality research work will be preferred.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good drafting and writing skills in English and Hindi
- Organize and priorities work to meet deadlines
- Prepare timely inputs
- IT/computing skills (minimum: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently to fulfil assigned tasks
- Ability to work remotely and travel to the field
