Rate of Urbanisation and Urban Sustainability in 3 Major Cities of Bihar

We are looking to hire one (1) full-time Research Associate (RA) to conduct a study titled “Rate of Urbanisation and Urban Sustainability in 3 Major Cities of Bihar.”

Responsibilities:

Assisting in field survey, data analysis

Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations

Qualifications: Postgraduate in Urban Planning/Economics/Development Studies/Geography/Development Planning/Statistics with minimum 55% marks. An M. Phil degree in such subjects will be an asset, but not a must. Students planning to apply to PhD programmes or those transitioning between jobs may also apply.

Candidates with the following skills will be preferred:

*Good organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;

*Fluent in English and Hindi;

*Ability to work remotely and travel to the field;

*Work experience will be an advantage;

*Resourceful and detail-oriented;

*Strong interpersonal skills;

*Proven ability to work independently in challenging contexts

Benefits and timeline: The compensation will be as per the stipulated guidelines. You will work in close collaboration with senior researchers and there will be opportunity for learning. This is a fixed-term assignment of 8 months. The location of the job is Patna, Bihar.
