Project Title: Health Condition and Health Care Utilization among Older women in Rural Bihar
Description: We are looking to hire one full-time Research Associate cum Data Analyst (8 months) for the project “Health Condition and Health Care Utilization among Older People in Rural Bihar”. The selected persons will contribute towards successful completion of the research project under the supervision of the project leader. This is a fixed-term assignment of 12 months. The job location is Patna, Bihar. The person is expected to travel to different parts of Bihar as and when required. The compensation will be as per the stipulated guidelines.
Qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent in Demography, Population Sciences, Human Geography, Economics, or Rural Development with minimum 55 percent marks. An M. Phil degree in such subjects will be an asset.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good drafting and writing skills in English and Hindi
- Organise and prioritise works to meet deadlines
- Prepare timely inputs
- IT/Computer skills (minimum: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to work remotely and travel to the field (Rural parts of Bihar)
