Dr. Narendra Kumar is a Research associate at ADRI. Before Joining ADRI he was working as an Assistant Professor at Miranda House, University of Delhi. He is a sociologist and researcher having specialization in agrarian relations, rural development, disaster studies, and gender issues in India.

 

He completed his MPhil and PhD in Law and Governance from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where his research focused on agrarian structures and production relations in rural Bihar through extensive field-based surveys. He has also worked on several interdisciplinary research projects related to gender, disaster management, indigenous knowledge systems, and rural livelihoods, including projects funded by ICSSR and collaborations with researchers from institutions in India and abroad.
