Events of CSEC
Patna. November 7. The Director of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at Varanasi, Dr. Sanjay Shrivatsava urged trainees of the Government of India’s MoEFCC (Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change)-sponsored on-going Capacity Building Programme on Promotion of Sikki Art and Design at ADRI to continue practicing the art indomitably even, for instance, as a hobby in their homes. Otherwise, he said that these skills will disappear into thin air instead of becoming robust. While distributing them certificates, he also promised to come up with ways of marketing and branding Sikki so as to further move it forward. Member-Secretary of ADRI, Dr. Ashmita Gupta also upped the morale of the trainees by asking them to put their minds and hearts into mastering it.
This 10-day event has been organized by the EIACP Centre of CSEC at the Asian Development Research Center (ADRI). CSEC is the climate crisis-fighting unit of ADRI and is supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change of the Government of India (MoEFCC). Colonel Anil Sinha, Dr. Ushasi Gupta and Dr. Sunita Lall were also present on the occasion.
EIACP Coordinator Dr. Mousumi Gupta and EIACP Program Officer Dr. Sunil Kr. Gupta compered the entire program. ADRI’s Gulshan Patel, Ms. Sakshi Shubham, and Mausam Bahar also helped organize the entire event.
