Events of EIACP
Patna, 5 August. The ENVIS centre at Centre for Studies on Environment and Climate (CSEC) at Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) organized a quiz competition at Devipada Choudhary Shaheed Smarak Miller High School on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day 2022-23. Additionally commemorating 75 years of Indian independence or ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ the ENVIS centre of CSEC-ADRI engaged with the youths and school students of Miller High School to build awareness on their surrounding natural resources and biodiversity. Therefore, in the form of an interactive quiz competition the students and faculties participated in the program. Mr. Vinay Kumar Singh, Principal, Miller High School chaired the event, encouraging the students to understand the significance of conserving natural resources and biodiversity. Dr. Ajeet Kumar Singh was the quizmaster for the event taking the participants and audience through the different topics like Wetlands, Rivers and Forests, Biodiversity, etc. Mr. Sanjeev, Dr. Ajeet and other team members from ENVIS, ADRI were also present at the event.
