Events of EIACP
EIACP-ADRI has participated in the Mega Exhibition on Lifestyle for Environment on 19th December 2023 at Ram ki Paidi, Deepotsav Sthal, Ayodhya. The event was organized by Sulabh-IIHH under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The EIACP-ADRI highlighted the importance of wetlands for LiFE. The objective of the centre was to inspire the people towards sustainable and traditional items such as a wetland based SIKKI Products like crafts, household items, paintings etc. These items were made by community members of Bihar. The centre also showcased documentaries based on wetlands, Infographics, Maps, Newsletters, Reports etc. Many people interacted at the stall with their queries. An educational kit based on Traditional Water Management Practices of India attracted a large number of school students. Dr. Unmana Sarangi, Joint Director, EIACP MoEF&CC chaired the event. Senior officials, EIACP centres and community members from Ayodhya, Sulabh-IIHH, TERI, WWF, SPA, UPCB, NBRI and other centres marked their presence.
Ms. Pooja Kumari, Information Officer and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Data-entry Operator from EIACP-ADRI, Patna successfully marked their participation at the event.
