Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World Wetland Day 2024

Wetlands are vital for human survival. They are among the world's most productive environments; cradles of biological diversity that provide the water and productivity upon which countless species of plants and animals depend for survival. World Wetlands Day, celebrated annually on 2 February, aims to raise global awareness about the vital role of Wetlands  and Human Wellbeing. This Day marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on 2 February 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar on the shores of the Caspian Sea. The theme of this year is "Wetland and Human Wellbeing".

In this regard, Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Program (EIACP) at Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI), Patna Resource Partner on Water Management and Climate Change under the aegis of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) is organizing an online poster making competition.

Eligibility: School/College Students of India
 
Last date of submission: 10 February 2024
 
Important Instructions for Poster Making Competition
  1. Participants need to submit their original work.
  2. One participant can register with one email ID.
  3. Scan copy of drawing sheet in (Any Size) jpeg format, Maximum image size is 10 MB.
  4. Only one Scanned / Photographed image of the drawing (sketch/Pastel/Watercolor/Oil/Acrylic) of high resolution in JPEG/JPG/PDF format has to be uploaded.
  5. Submission of edited images with any software/application is not permitted.
  6. Participants have to clearly write the theme of drawing, name, date of poster submission, name of school/college, email and mobile number at the bottom right corner of the drawing sheet.
  7. The poster or art should be based on theme i.e. Wetland and Human Wellbeing.
  8. Participants need to mention the date of poster making, without the date entries will not be considered valid.
  9. The individual has to provide the following details at the time of registration; Name, Contact Number, and email, short description of the the poster or art (Max 50 words), Passport Size Photo, Student Id. 
  10. The individual has to provide the short video (max 30 seconds) or a selfie during making of poster. 
  11. Competition is open for all Indian Students.
  12. E certificate will be issued to the candidate.
  13. Top three winners will be awarded by cash prizes (1st- Rs.3000, 2nd- Rs.2000, 3rd-Rs.1000).
  14. Decision of EIACP-ADRI shall be final.
The students are required to fill out a Google form for their participation by clicking the link or scaning QR code on the flyer.
