Patna. July 23. A public health system must be accountable, transparent and be able to prevent any wrong-doings. The newly-developed innovative SAFU Dashboard, a claim adjudication monitoring system dashboard for the flagship Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY health scheme will do just that. This was emphatically pointed out by the Hon’ble Health Minister of Bihar, Shree Mangal Pandey while launching the dashboard today. AB-PMJAY has been implemented by the collaboration of Bihar Swasthya Suraksha Samiti (BSSS) and Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI). ADRI was the organizer of this meeting.
Further, he stated that the dashboard should be upgraded regularly so that the government, beneficiaries and hospitals are satisfied. He hoped that this digital leap will help the state address its human development challenges.
Earlier, the Member-Secretary of ADRI, Dr. Ashmita Gupta updated everyone with the current research work at ADRI, the most notable being the work of geo-mapping of approximately 20,000 private healthcare units in Bihar.
A Special Address was delivered by Shree Shashank Shekhar Sinha, the CEO of BSSS. Also speaking on the occasion were the AO of BSSS, Shree Shailesh Chandra Diwakar; Dr. Mousumi Gupta and Dr. Sanchita Mahapatra of ADRI. Dr. Sunita Lal of ADRI honored the distinguished Minister and other speakers with Angvastras on the occasion.
