Patna. September 16. Praising the united effort of all nations in tacking the Ozone layer crisis successfully after the Montreal Protocol of 1987, Professor Shruti Dutta of Patna Science College declared that the ozone layer will get fully repaired by the year 2066. The Montreal Protocol was created to phase out Ozone-depleting substances like CFCs and Halons. She was speaking on the occasion of the World Ozone Day for a program organized by the Union MoEFCC-supported EIACP-ADRI today. EIACP is the climate crisis-fighting unit of the Asian Development Research Institute or ADRI.
Professor Rajesh Kumar Ranjan of the Central University of South Bihar at Gayaji elaborated on the issue of our environment at the event. Environment Expert Ms. Shraddha Sinha also spoke on the occasion.
